Badgingarra ~ Cervantes ~ Greenhead ~ Jurien Bay ~ Leeman

Cervantes Western Australia is located 247kms north of Perth and is the gateway to Australia's Coral Coast. Established in 1962 and named after an American whaling ship wrecked off the coast in 1844, Cervantes is a small but growing fishing town. Cervantes is also in close proximity to the Nambung National Park and the Pinnacles Desert. Many families from Perth enjoy the close proximity of Cervantes to Perth for weekend getaways.

Jurien Western Australia is also known as Jurien Bay, is 22kms north of Cervantes along the Indian Ocean Road. Jurien Bay has a well protected bay ( the largest in the Central West Coast) and offers quality fishing for both amateurs and professionals. Cray fishing is a major industry and earns the town millions of dollars yearly with the season running from November to June. Jurien is fast earning a reputation as a growing town that offers safe swimming beaches , a modern marina for both professional and amateur fishermen. Bush walking and beachcombing are also popular pastimes.

Badgingarra is renowned for its incredibly diverse bushland, which becomes ablaze with the brilliant colour of wildflowers during spring.
The township of Badgingarra is located just east of the Brand Hwy, 205kms north of Perth.

Green Head is a small coastal town just 252kms north of Perth on the new Indian Ocean Road.( The Indian Ocean Road starts at Cervantes and finishes south of Dongara ).
Situated on a headland, Green Head's bays offer white sandy beaches where you can swim and snorkel. The offshore islands are ideal for both scuba diving and fishing.

Leeman is 50kms further north of Green Head on the Indian Ocean Road and is a quaint little fishing community. A real beach lovers paradise that caters for fishing, swimming, surfing and windsurfing. Between the months of November to June the town hosts a fleet of fishing vessels in search of the tasty western rock lobster.
